Rezolve supports the following mobile triggers
GeoZones - When customers enter a Rezolve GeoZone, they receive a notification on their phone inviting them to open the Rezolve app and start engaging. Additionally, all the GeoZone-linked engagements can be browsed from within the ‘In The Area’ page in the app, even if the customer is not within a GeoZone at the time.
Image Watermarks - Image watermarks can be placed within existing artwork such as posters and fliers. Customers can scan the watermarked image with their mobile devices to trigger the engagement.
Audio Watermarks - These are tiny changes made to an audio file that Rezolve will detect and act upon. Customers can be immediately redirected to content relevant to what they are currently watching/listening to.
Beacons - These are tiny devices placed around a space. When a customer gets near to a beacon, it will trigger a notification on their mobile device. Beacons are a great way of showing customers information that is relevant to where they are precisely located.
Touch (Links) - It is possible to create Rezolve-enabled URLs and share them via email, SMS and social media and as scannable QR codes. When customers tap on the links, they will be taken to the relevant content in the Rezolve app (or they will be taken to the App Store to download the app).
Rezolve supports the following mobile user journeys:
Instant Buy - Directs customers to a product (or page of products) and invites them to make an instant purchase.
Instant Act - Shows customers a response form for them to complete and submit.
Information Page - Shows a page of information about the business, or the products and services on offer.
URL Redirection - Takes customers to a web page that is outside of the Rezolve platform.
Rezolve will ask the customer to provide access to the following features on their smart device:
Camera - for watermark and QR code scanning
Microphone - for audio watermark detection
Location - for GeoZone detection. The user can choose whether to ‘Always Allow’ location sharing (so Rezolve can detect GeoZones when the app is in the background) or ‘Only When App Is In Use’ (so the user ca naccess the GeoZones via ‘In The Area’)
Customers using the Rezolve app will agree to Rezolve’s standard set of terms and conditions in order to start engaging using the app. These terms and conditions explain the relationship between Rezolve and the merchants who are promoting using Rezolve.
Retailers selling via Rezolve then need to provide additional terms and conditions which customers will agree to when sliding to buy.
The Rezolve solution is made up of the following key components:
Rezolve Experience Portal - The RXP is used to createand manage Rezolve engagements. Merchants and brands can use the RXP to create mobile triggers (such as GeoZones and watermarked images) and configure the mobile flows that customers will be taken into after they have interacted with the trigger.
Merchant Portal - This is an advanced ecommerce module used to manage the products that will be offered via the Rezolve engagements, and also process the orders placed via the app.
Software Development Kit (SDK) - The Rezolve-Inside SDK is a mobile toolkit (for iOS and Android) which enables retailers and brands to add Rezolve’s trigger detection and mobile flow functionality to their own apps.
As well as the three items described above, Rezolve’s solution includes all the payment technology, user authentication systems and APIs required to create a secure and fully-functional end-to-end solution for mobile engagements.
GeoZones are created within the Rezolve Experience Platform (RXP) by drawing them on the map as circles. The centre of the circle will usually be the location being promoted - e.g. a store. Then the radius of the fence can be enlarged depending on the required size of the GeoZone. It’s possible to create several GeoZones for a single engagement.
In order to create an ‘Instant Buy’ engagement that takes customers through to a product for purchase, the details of that product have to be within Rezolve. There are several options for doing entering product information into Rezolve.
Link to an Ecommerce Platform - Rezolve can connect directly to ecommerce platforms such as Shopify and Sales Force Commerce Cloud. This connection means that all the products in the ecommerce platform will be listed in Rezolve and will be available for Instant Buy engagements.
Connecting an external system to Rezolve via APIs -It is possible to connect an external system to the Merchant Portal via a set of Merchant APIs. This allows product information to be synchronised between the two systems, and also means any orders placed will be transferred to the external system.
CSV Import - Bulk import a whole catalogue of products into Rezolve in one go using CSV import.
Manual Product Entry - Products details can also be manually entered into the Rezolve using a simple dashboard.

One of the available target options within the Rezolve RXP is ‘URL’. By putting a custom URL into this field, customers will be redirected to this URL once they have engaged with the Rezolve trigger.

Yes. Using the dashboard within the RXP, it is possible to change the target for an engagement after it has been created - including changing the product that customers are shown as part of the Instant Buy flow.
Rezolve ultimately owns all the data related to the end user’s journey through the app, and the transactions made. Any customer data included with Instant Act forms submitted to a merchant, or Instant Buy orders placed with a merchant can be used by that merchant for fulfilment and promotion.
Rezolve has an app called ‘Shop Beautiful’ and also ‘ANY App’ (Germany only) which enables anyone to start promoting with Rezolve without having to integrate Rezolve’s SDK. Anyone wanting to promote using Rezolve’s triggers (such as GeoZones and watermarked images) just need to tell their customers to download and install the app from the app store.
The appearance of the RXP, the Merchant Portal and the app can potentially all be customised with different branding. Please contact Rezolve for more details.
